ABOUT THIS CALL

Summit Artspace's Emerging Artist Residency (EAR) provides a shared studio, monthly stipend, mentorship and exhibition access for two emerging artists (practice of 5 years or less), joining the current EAR cohort. Priority given to artists living in Summit County; contiguous-county artists may also apply.

REQUIREMENT 

  • Priority to Summit County artists; contiguous counties may apply • Must pass background check at own expense

  • Move-in as early as September 1, 2026

Summit Artspace is an Akron, Ohio arts non-profit funded in part through an ArtsForward grant from ArtsNow, supporting local emerging artists.
