ABOUT THIS CALL

Cold Paradise Projects offers a free, self-guided two-week residency in a remote Highlands cottage on Loch Beag, aimed at artists with a landscape, ecology or site-research practice. There is no fee and no set outcome; artists are asked to gift a work of art in exchange.

REQUIREMENT 

  • Resume, statement of intent and work samples (format varies by discipline)

  • A car is essential, 1.5 hours from Inverness

  • No formal studio; not suited to social-practice artists

  • Partners/family welcome, no pets
