Akron Soul Train's residency gives visual, literary, performing and multidisciplinary artists dedicated time, a $1,000 unrestricted stipend and organisational support to develop an original project for public presentation, alongside a community engagement component in Greater Akron.

REQUIREMENT

Regional artists (reasonable travel distance to Akron), 18+
Community engagement activity required
Works from own studio, no live/workspace provided
Alumni must wait two residency cycles to reapply
