ABOUT THIS CALL
The New Emergence Art Prize 2026 is an international open call for emerging artists working in any medium. There is no set theme and artists are free to submit work that best represents their practice. A shortlist of artists will be featured in an online exhibition running August to September 2026, with prize winners announced at the close of the exhibition period. The prize fund is worth over £5,000 and includes cash prizes, artist materials, professional mentoring sessions and a residency opportunity. The prize is committed to providing meaningful support to emerging artists at a critical stage in their career.

Open to emerging artists internationally
No set theme - all mediums accepted
Artists may submit up to 3 works
Work must be original and produced by the applicant
Full-time students are eligible
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
New Emergence Art is an artist-led platform dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging artists through prizes, exhibitions and mentoring programmes. Founded with the belief that talent is everywhere but opportunity is not equally distributed, New Emergence Art runs international open calls that give emerging artists access to cash prizes, professional development and global exposure. The platform works with a network of artists, curators and industry professionals to provide meaningful support that goes beyond a simple prize award.
