ABOUT THIS CALL
From The Ground Studio is an open collective of young artists united by the shared practice of making art as a means for active hope. Their second open call invites artists of any medium, any age and any experience level to submit work for a group exhibition at the Atrium Gallery, Marine Workshops, Newhaven, running from 8 to 20 September 2026 as part of the Art Wave Festival. A private view evening will be held on 18 September 2026. The call is open to single artworks or larger collections of work using any technique or medium. Work must be dropped off at the gallery on 7 September between 10am and 1pm. Selected artists will be required to do at least one day of invigilation during the exhibition. A £10 fee applies upon successful artwork selection to help cover costs. Some flexibility is available for those unable to pay.
REQUIREMENT
Open to artists of any age, any medium and any experience level
No restrictions on nationality or career stage
Single artworks or larger collections accepted
Work must be dropped off at Atrium Gallery, Newhaven on 7 September between 10am and 1pm
Selected artists must do at least one day of invigilation during the exhibition
£10 fee applies on successful selection (flexibility available for those unable to pay)
Work must be collected on 20 September
