ABOUT THIS CALL

CasildART is opening its Marble Arch gallery in central London to individual artists, artist collectives, independent curators and nomadic gallerists to apply to present their own exhibition. One selected applicant will receive a full 7-day exhibition in the gallery completely free of charge, with full use of both gallery floors including the upper gallery and basement studio space. As a social enterprise committed to making art accessible, CasildART asks for a £57 donation to apply - a contribution that directly supports their programme and helps make space for independent and underrepresented voices. The gallery takes a 15% commission on gross sales. The gallery is located at 32 Connaught Street, Marble Arch, London W2. Preferred exhibition dates exclude June, October and December.

REQUIREMENT 

  • Open to individual artists, artist collectives, independent curators and nomadic gallerists 

  • £57 non-refundable application donation required 

  • All practices and mediums accepted including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, mixed media, digital art and workshops 

  • Applicants must provide a curatorial concept of 400-500 words

  • Selected applicant is responsible for installation, marketing, staffing and private view costs 

  • Gallery takes 15% commission on gross sales

CasildART is a social enterprise contemporary art gallery located at Marble Arch in central London, dedicated to making art accessible and creating space for independent and underrepresented voices. Through its exhibition programme and open calls, CasildART supports artists, collectives, curators and gallerists in presenting ambitious and original work to London audiences. The gallery operates on a social enterprise model, reinvesting in its programme to continue supporting independent creative voices.
